Quick Start Steps to Become a Committeeperson

  1. To confirm your Assembly District (AD), Election District (ED) and to be sure you are registered in the party you wish to serve in, use the Voter Search Screen for VoterLookUp
  2. At http://projectcivica.org:
    1. watch the short video above explaining the process.
    2. Sign up for our Committee Strategy meeting every Monday at 7:00 pm. Complete the form for a weekly Zoom link.
  3. Attend weekly meetings to learn about the process and get the assistance Project Civica will provide to get you started.
  4. The information you provide will be sent to a coordinator within your county
  5. Visit http://projectcivica.org/media/. Watch Steve Gillan’s presentation video for a better understanding of why it’s crucial for you to get involved in this effort.

Deadlines to Become a New York Committee Person in 2025
