Mission & Overview

We fight for New York's future with civic action to restore liberty

Project Civica is a citizen-powered, non-partisan organization of everyday New Yorkers, grassroots groups, experienced mentors and national partners. We work together to educate, organize, and activate communities to defend liberty and hold government accountable. We believe informed citizens have the power to lead real change—starting right here in New York.

Our Purpose

Project Civica equips New Yorkers to implement citizen-led initiatives by providing the structure, training, and connections needed for effective civic action, government accountability, and the preservation of freedom for future generations.

Our Story
Symbolism and Inspiration

In ancient Rome, the Corona Civica—a garland of oak leaves and acorns—was awarded to citizens who saved the lives of their fellow citizens. This Civic Crown honored acts of courage that preserved life and upheld the common good. The acorn, humble in form, holds the potential to grow into a mighty oak—deep-rooted, enduring, and unshakable. As America's national tree, the oak symbolizes the nation's strength, resilience, and stability.

So too, our individual civic efforts—when rooted in principle and united in purpose—can grow into a thriving nation, firmly established in liberty and built to endure for generations to come.
